Job summary

US Bellows, a division of Piping Technology & Products, is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Planning & Scheduling Manager to dramatically improve planning, scheduling, and execution across our manufacturing operations. You will spend substantial time on the shop floor, collaborating with welders, fabricators, and supervisors to identify bottlenecks and implement a finite-capacity scheduling solution.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in manufacturing with planning or scheduling responsibility.
• Experience selecting and implementing finite-capacity scheduling software.
• Experience in engineer‑to‑order or high‑mix/low‑volume manufacturing.
• Willingness to spend substantial time on the shop floor daily.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and cross-functional leadership skills.

Responsibilities

• Build a reliable, capacity-constrained scheduling system and master production schedule.
• Work directly with manufacturing leadership and shop floor teams to optimize throughput.
• Establish KPIs for schedule adherence, capacity utilization, and on-time delivery.
• Lead integration of scheduling with ERP and other manufacturing systems.
• Develop processes to scale planning as the company grows.
