Job summary

Blue Origin is seeking a Manufacturing Planner III (A Shift) to write detailed work instructions and support shop floor operations across the build plan. You will manage mBOM creation, change notices, work orders, and nonconformance dispositions to ensure proper configuration control and traceability.

Responsibilities include tooling coordination, supplier data review, and providing shipside support while maintaining schedules and quality metrics.

Qualifications

• HS/GED or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or trade school in related discipline and/or 7+ years of manufacturing planner or production experience.
• Understanding of Project Management, Lean Six Sigma or lean methods.
• Intermediate experience with P6 or other GANTT-style project management tools.

Responsibilities

• Leads development, implementation, and maintenance of manufacturing plans and bill of materials at cell level.
• Reviews supplier data to ensure manufacturing requirements are met and coordinates tooling dispositions.
• Provides shipside support and cross-functional collaboration to meet delivery commitments.
• Maintains manufacturing schedules and internal documents for traceability and quality.
