Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience processing multi-state payroll for 500+ employees, preferably in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with HRIS/payroll systems and timekeeping systems.
• Strong understanding of federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
• Experience with hourly and salaried payroll, including shift differentials and overtime.
• Attention to detail and data reconciliation accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Processes bi-weekly payroll for all manufacturing employees, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Manages timecard collection and approval processes with supervisors for timely submission.
• Calculates and processes payroll deductions, taxes, benefits, and garnishments per regulations.
• Reconciles payroll data and prepares journal entries for financial reporting.
• Responds to employee inquiries regarding payroll, deductions, and timekeeping.
• Ensures compliance with internal policies and external payroll regulations.
• Assists with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation and distribution.
