Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Manufacturing Optimization Manager to drive continuous improvement across US manufacturing sites. You will implement lean systems, coach frontline leaders, and resolve operational challenges to improve efficiency, quality, and throughput.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing and production operations.
• 2+ years in a supervisor or production operations lead/manager role in a high-volume production environment.
• LEAN manufacturing principles and change management knowledge (ECOs).
• Able to interpret technical drawings, instructions, and specs.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; highly organized and reliable.

Responsibilities

• Establish a scalable operating system with daily management and KPI trees.
• Lead cross-functional execution across Operations, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Supply Chain and Test.
• Standardize processes to reduce variation and enable flexible staffing models.
• Drive continuous improvement using structured problem solving (A3/8D) and kaizen.
• Triage critical constraints, stabilize safety and quality events, and manage schedule risks.
• Coach Managers, Supervisors and Team Leaders through daily Gemba and standard work.
• Capture best practices and deploy playbooks and dashboards across sites.
• Develop tools (dashboards, boards, problem queues) to improve visibility and decision speed.
