Job summary

ASSA ABLOY is seeking an experienced operations leader with a strong background in manufacturing to drive continuous improvement, lead Kaizen initiatives, and manage cross-functional teams. You will guide projects that enhance efficiency, quality, and safety across the production floor.

You will partner with Finance, Sales, and Engineering to set budgets, improve processes, and ensure timely delivery while reducing waste. Strong leadership and communication are essential to succeed in this role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering.
• 10+ years of hands-on operations experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Self-directed, well organized with good follow-up skills.
• Strong record of continuous improvement using Kaizen, cellular manufacturing, one-piece flow, 5‑S, standard work, visual management, kanban and process linking.

Responsibilities

• Train and encourage team to improve in all areas of the business.
• Contact and field questions from Customers, Sales Force, and Front End Organization.
• Set high standards of conduct and lead by example.
• Increase productivity while maintaining quality.
• Assist in developing yearly budgets and budget containment.
• Assist with yearly business plans and monthly progress reporting.
• Reduce errors and customer returns via root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Reduce inventory levels without compromising delivery.
• Review safety and OSHA requirements to ensure compliance.
• Support Kaizen methodologies to continue process improvements.
• Lead continuous improvement and profitability initiatives and report monthly.
• Work with company policies and procedures.
