Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical or Systems Engineering, or equivalent technical field.
• Master’s degree a plus.
• 3–5+ years of related experience, preferably in engineering.
• 1–3+ years of engineering experience in manufacturing or assembly processes preferred
• Experience designing, operating, troubleshooting, maintaining complex production machinery
• Hands-on experience with product issues, problem recognition and countermeasures quickly to avoid problems
• Knowledge and use of CAD software (SolidWorks desirable)

Responsibilities

• Manages plans, directs, coordinates optimal, cost-effective manufacturing processes
• Ensures processes and operations function efficiently, safely and effectively
• Tr troubleshoots operations, revises drawing and process sheets, verifies conformance, trains operators
• Evaluation of existing processes to improve process flow
• Researching automation techniques, testing new systems and planning layouts for optimization
• Coordinates launch for new, revised products, processes and equipment
• Follows Continuous Improvement and Lean manufacturing principles
