Job summary

ASSA ABLOY Door Group is seeking an experienced manufacturing operations leader to drive world-class performance across our plants. You will guide cross-functional teams, balance strategic planning with hands-on execution, and lead initiatives to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.

You will develop and deploy robust metrics, mentor leaders, and ensure regulatory compliance while coordinating with other locations to share best practices and sustain a culture of continuous improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing Operations, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of progressive manufacturing or operations leadership experience with a proven history of delivering results through teams.
  • Experience leading managers and supervisors in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated success driving operational improvements through Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
  • Strong understanding of continuous improvement, employee engagement, and performance management.
  • Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
  • Experience managing budgets, controlling costs, and improving operational performance.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Excel and Word.
  • Ability to effectively prioritize multiple initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

  • Drive improvements in quality, productivity, on-time delivery, and efficiency.
  • Implement Lean Manufacturing, Toyota Production System, and TPM principles.
  • Champion Kaizen events, 5S activities, and Gemba walks for improvements.
  • Develop strategic and tactical plans to meet changing demands and customer expectations.
  • Oversee budgets and drive performance through cost management and waste reduction.
  • Establish effective communication for alignment and accountability.
  • Mentor leaders on engagement, leadership, and team development.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, quality, and regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate with other locations to share best practices and drive consistency.
  • Support growth through workforce planning and leadership development.
