Sheridan Liberty, part of the SheridanGroup, is seeking a Manufacturing Operator - Bindery for the 1st shift. No bindery experience? We’ll train you to operate high-speed bindery equipment and contribute to quality printed materials.

Join a team focused on safety, reliability, and long-term career growth. Responsibilities include learning to set up and operate bindery machines, maintaining quality, meeting daily goals, and working collaboratively with teammates in a fast-paced production

Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery in any industry.
• Mechanically inclined and able to use basic tools.
• Able to read basic instructions and measurements.
• Reliable and works well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate and set up bindery equipment (cutters, folders, stitchers, perfect binders).
• Keep machines running smoothly by making adjustments and monitoring quality.
• Work as part of a team to hit daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards.
• Troubleshoot minor issues and keep production moving.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

We’re looking for people who:

• Haveexperience operating machineryin any industry(manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.)
• Are mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools
• Canread basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.)
• Take pride in doing quality work
• Show up reliably and work well with a team

It’sa plusif you have:

• Print, bindery, or finishing experience
• Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment

Physical & Work Environment

• On your feet for most of the shift
• Fast-paced, team-oriented production floor
• Lift up to 20lbsoccasionally
