Job summary

Sheridan is seeking a Manufacturing Operator for Case In Bindery in Brainerd, MN. This role offers hands-on training and a chance to grow within a print manufacturing environment.

You’ll learn to operate and adjust high-speed bindery equipment, monitor quality, and work with a team to hit daily production goals while following strict safety guidelines. Training provided; no prior bindery experience required.

Qualifications

• No bindery experience? We’ll train you.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School Diploma or GED requirement.
• Mechanically inclined and able to use basic tools.
• Able to read basic job instructions and measurements.
• Pride in delivering quality work and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate and set up bindery equipment encasing books in hard cases.
• Keep machines running smoothly by adjusting settings and monitoring quality.
• Work as part of a team to meet daily production goals.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Troubleshoot minor issues to keep production moving.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.

2 nd – Shift | Monday - Friday | 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

What We’re Looking For

No bindery experience? No problem—we’ll train you.

We’re looking for people who:

• Are at least 18 years of age.
• Have a High School Diploma, or GED.
• Are mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools.
• Can read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.)
• Take pride in doing quality work
• Show up reliably and work well with a team.

It’s a plus if you have:

• Print, bindery, or finishing experience
• Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment

Physical & Work Environment

Work is performed in a factory environment with regular exposure to dust, dirt, noise, and the physical hazards of machinery, plus some exposure to fumes, oils, lubricants, and chemicals.

• Safety toe shoes and hearing protection required.
• On your feet for most of the shift
• Ability to lift, carry, push and/or pull 50lbs.
