Job summary

Beehive Industries is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Supervisor at the Knoxville, Tennessee facility to oversee daily production, post-processing, and shipping activities. You will lead frontline manufacturing staff, align priorities with production control and engineering, and ensure safe, efficient execution while upholding quality standards.

The role emphasizes coaching, safety, and continuous improvement, with collaboration across Quality and Manufacturing leadership to meet schedules

Qualifications

• Requires supervision of frontline manufacturing employees and collaboration with multiple departments.
• Experience with manufacturing processes, safety, quality standards, and productivity metrics.
• Lean manufacturing exposure and ERP/mfg software familiarity preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily production, post-processing, and shipping & receiving activities to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality operations
• Assign work, establish daily priorities, and monitor workflow to meet production schedules and customer delivery commitments
• Provide leadership, coaching, and feedback to manufacturing team members while promoting engagement
• Ensure employees follow manufacturing processes, work instructions, quality requirements, and safety procedures
• Coordinate with Production Control, Engineering, and Quality to resolve issues and maintain workflow
• Monitor production performance and elevate concerns to support schedule attainment
• Support LPBF and MBJ operations by ensuring procedures are followed
• Promote continuous improvement to reduce waste and improve productivity
• Maintain accurate production records and communicate shifts and updates to leadership
• Support hiring, onboarding, training, and development of manufacturing staff
