Job summary
Beehive Industries is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Supervisor to oversee daily production, post-processing, and shipping at our Knoxville, TN facility. You will supervise frontline manufacturing employees, set daily priorities, and ensure safe, efficient, and compliant operations aligned with quality standards.
You will partner with Production Control, Engineering, and Quality teams to resolve issues, drive continuous improvement, and support growth of the defense-focused manufacturing
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of manufacturing experience with 1–2 years in supervision.
- Experience in aerospace/defense or highly regulated industries preferred.
- Ability to supervise and motivate frontline employees while ensuring safety, quality, and productivity.
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a U.S. government security clearance.
- Familiarity with ERP and shop floor operations.
Responsibilities
- Supervise daily production, post-processing, and shipping and receiving to meet schedules and delivery commitments.
- Provide leadership, coaching, and performance feedback to manufacturing team members.
- Ensure adherence to processes, instructions, quality requirements, and safety procedures.
- Coordinate with Production Control, Engineering, and Quality to resolve issues and maintain workflow.
- Monitor performance, identify issues, and escalate as needed to support schedule attainment.
- Support LPBF and MBJ operations per established procedures.
- Promote continuous improvement to reduce waste and increase productivity.
- Maintain accurate production records and communicate shift updates to leadership.
- Assist in hiring, onboarding, and development of staff.
