idX Corporation is seeking an Operations Manager to lead a manufacturing facility's day-to-day operations, driving safety, efficiency, and profitability. The role oversees production, scheduling, materials, quality, maintenance, shipping, and workforce development, aligning with company objectives.

You will partner with Engineering, Purchasing, Master Scheduling, Safety, Quality, and Executive Leadership to ensure flawless execution of commitments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management or equivalent experience preferred.
• 7-10 years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• 3-5 years of multi‑department management in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with architectural millwork, retail fixtures, displays, woodworking, cabinetry, or related manufacturing preferred.
• Strong ERP/MRP experience; Epicor/Kinetic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations including production, scheduling, materials, quality, maintenance, shipping, and inventory control.
• Drive safety culture and ensure compliance with OSHA and safety policies.
• Manage labor efficiency, overtime, budgeting, and plant profitability metrics.
• Establish and maintain a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
• Coordinate with Master Scheduling and Project Management to ensure timely project execution.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and collaborate with Purchasing for material availability.
• Develop supervisors and leaders through coaching, performance reviews, and succession planning.
• Oversee maintenance and facilities to improve uptime and reliability.
• Promote Lean practices and data-driven decision making across facilities.
• Collaborate with regional leadership to balance workloads and standardize processes.
