Job summary

idX Corporation seeks an Operations Manager to lead a manufacturing facility, driving safety, efficiency, and profitability. The role oversees production, scheduling, materials, quality, maintenance, and shipping while aligning with engineering and procurement teams.

Responsibilities include ensuring on-time delivery, managing labor and inventory, and leading continuous improvement initiatives with Lean practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering, or Operations Management is preferred.
• 7–10 years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• 3–5 years managing multiple departments in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience in architectural millwork, retail fixtures, or related manufacturing is preferred.
• Strong ERP/MRP experience; Epicor/Kinetic experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operations of a manufacturing facility with safety, efficiency, and profitability goals.
• Oversee production, scheduling, materials, quality, maintenance, shipping, and inventory accuracy.
• Collaborate with engineering, purchasing, and executive leadership to meet commitments.
• Drive safety culture, continuous improvement, and Lean initiatives.
• Monitor KPIs, budgets, forecasts, and plant profitability.
