Job summary

Global Power Components is seeking an Operations Manager to lead production planning, scheduling, and continuous improvement at our Milwaukee facility. You will drive lean initiatives, scale ETO to repeatable processes, and ensure on-time delivery by coordinating with cross-functional teams.

The role requires a strong background in manufacturing and project management, with experience in ERP/MRP systems and change management to support rapid growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or Operations Management.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing or production management.
• Experience in both ETO and CTO manufacturing.
• Experience in scaling operations / change management.
• Experience with ERP Systems and digital inventory management tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage production schedules aligned with growth targets.
• Lead transition from ETO to repeatable, scalable manufacturing processes.
• Execute day-to-day operations through production supervisors with leadership.
• Collaborate with supply chain, engineering, quality to ensure readiness.
• Implement and refine ERP/MRP workflows and reporting for visibility.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies.
• Coordinate materials, capacity planning, and shop-floor execution.
• Promote accountability and innovation across the production team.
