Job summary

Global Power Components is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and optimize production planning and execution as it scales from Engineer-to-Order to a repeatable, mid‑volume manufacturing operation.

You will drive manufacturing systems, coordinate with supply chain, engineering and quality, and implement ERP/MRP improvements to increase visibility, efficiency, and cost control.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, or Operations Management.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing or production management roles.
• Experience in both ETO (Engineer to Order) and CTO (Configured to Order) manufacturing.
• Experience in scaling operations / change management.
• Experience with ERP Systems and digital inventory management tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage production schedules, ensuring alignment with operational goals and business growth targets.
• Lead the transition from ETO to repeatable, scalable manufacturing processes with a focus on efficiency, cost control, and quality.
• Execute day-to-day operations through a seasoned team of production supervisors; provide leadership, coordination, and accountability.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders (supply chain, engineering, quality, etc.) to ensure production readiness and resource availability.
• Implement and refine production planning systems (ERP/MRP), workflows, and reporting tools to increase visibility and control.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
• Manage internal coordination for material availability, capacity planning, and shop floor execution.
• Promote a culture of accountability, operational discipline, and innovation throughout the production team.
