Job summary

Global Power Components is hiring a Production Supervisor to lead manufacturing teams onsite in Milwaukee, WI. The role requires hands-on leadership across the shop floor to maintain production schedules and quality.

You will train staff, ensure safety, and adapt to evolving processes while driving continuous improvement on the line. The ideal candidate has 4+ years on the shop floor, prior supervision, and experience with steel/aluminum work, blueprints, and crane operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years on the shop floor in manufacturing.
• Leadership role for a minimum of two years.
• Ability to perform shop calculations to verify specs with common shop tools.
• Experience reading blueprints.
• Experience operating cranes and rigging.
• Experience with steel or aluminum.
• Strong problem-solving and adaptability to schedule changes.
• Willing to be hands-on across production areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead various teams throughout the manufacturing facility and lead by example.
• Train and motivate staff to meet production requirements and schedules.
• Test products/equipment for defects and malfunctions.
• Drive a culture of safety and accountability.
• Communicate changes and updates to employees on processes and procedures.
