Job summary

Global Power Components is seeking a Manufacturing Inventory Lead in Milwaukee, WI to bring structure to manufactured stock, align demand with production, and strengthen ERP-driven inventory control on the shop floor.

You will collaborate with Production Supervisors, Planning, Purchasing, and Inventory Control to prevent shortages, optimize cycle times, and enforce accurate inventory locations through repeatable processes and hands-on leadership.

Qualifications

• Supply chain, operations, manufacturing, or related field experience.
• ERP experience with Epicor.
• Advanced demand planning capabilities.
• Direct experience with inventory control in manufacturing or distribution.
• Strong leadership and ability to influence without formal authority.
• Collaborative, adaptable, and capable of managing change.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Able to meet physical requirements (walking, climbing ladders, dexterity with tools).

Responsibilities

• Provide demand planning and replenishment aligned to production schedules.
• Organize inventory locations to enable cycle counts and accurate issuance.
• Investigate discrepancies and lead corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain workcell production schedules and visibility.
• Communicate capacity constraints and risks to operations leadership.
