Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Production Manager to lead multiple manufacturing value streams in Haslet, TX. You will drive daily production plans, ensure safety and quality, and develop front-line supervisors to achieve on-time delivery and cost targets.

The role emphasizes Lean leadership, problem-solving, operational strategy, and continuous improvement across shifts. Strong collaboration with Materials, Planning, and Logistics is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree; 8+ years manufacturing experience including supervision of hourly teams.
• 2+ years delivering daily build plans meeting EH&S, quality, delivery and cost KPIs.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, standard work, 5S and layered process audits.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple manufacturing value streams to meet safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets.
• Drive daily production plan execution with adherence to quality and customer requirements.
• Establish clear operational priorities and accountability across all levels.
• Create short- and long-term operational strategies aligned with site and business objectives.
• Resolve production, quality, staffing, equipment, and material constraints.
• Champion a safety culture and ensure EH&S policy compliance.
• Improve first-pass yield and reduce defects through quality partnerships.
• Drive line efficiency, throughput, and on-time delivery.
• Lead Lean initiatives (Kaizen, A3, standard work) and cost-reduction efforts.
• Develop and mentor Operations Managers, Supervisors, and leaders.
