Job summary

Carrier is seeking a Senior Production Supervisor to lead a production area or shift, ensuring daily build plans are met safely and to quality standards. You will be responsible for front-line execution, developing people, and driving continuous improvement on the floor.

The role requires coordinating staffing, scheduling, training and performance management while partnering with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and meet daily targets across safety, quality, delivery and cost.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years manufacturing experience including supervising hourly production teams.
• 3+ years Lean Manufacturing, standard work, 5S and daily management.

Responsibilities

• Supervises a production area or shift, delivering daily output, quality, safety and cost targets.
• Leads, coaches and develops team leaders and hourly production associates.
• Owns staffing, scheduling, attendance, training and performance management for the area.
• Runs daily tiered management (SQDC boards), escalations and rapid problem-solving.
• Enforces standard work, 5S, layered process audits and safety requirements (OSHA, LOTO).
• Drives continuous-improvement and kaizen activities with the team.
• Partners with Materials, Quality, Engineering and Maintenance to resolve line issues.
• Manages labor efficiency, scrap and adherence-to-plan for the area.
• Work rotating shifts, weekends and overtime based on production needs.
