Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (MEPPI) seeks a Manufacturing Operations Leader for the CPSD to oversee manufacturing and customer testing, drive safety, quality, and on-time delivery, and lead continuous improvement.

You will manage production priorities, resources, and performance, and mentor the team in Lean practices. Responsibilities include standardizing processes with KPIs and visual tools, coordinating with engineering, quality, and supply chain, and supporting new product

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent with at least five years in manufacturing and two years in management.
• Advanced knowledge of manufacturing operations and production processes in a made-to-order environment.
• Experience developing and implementing manufacturing management systems (KPIs, visual management, daily accountability).
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing (5S, standard work, root cause analysis, waste reduction).
• Experience with production scheduling, capacity planning, resource allocation, and performance management.

Responsabilidades

• Lead CPSD manufacturing and customer testing operations to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.
• Develop and monitor manufacturing management systems, KPIs, and daily accountability processes.
• Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly operational reviews to assess performance and capacity.
• Lead Lean initiatives (5S, standard work, root cause analysis, waste reduction).
• Oversee customer testing activities and lab operations to meet requirements and schedules.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance, fixtures, and installation of new manufacturing equipment.
• Support new product introductions with manufacturing plans and prototype builds.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, procedures, and budgets.
• Develop and coach manufacturing and testing personnel; participate in hiring and evaluations.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, supply chain, and other departments to resolve challenges.
