Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. (MEPPI) is seeking a Quality Manager for the Critical Power Solutions Division in the United States.

This role leads quality assurance and control across the division, driving continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with industry standards and customer expectations for power solutions and related services. You will develop quality processes, manage supplier quality, resolve product issues, and mentor a team focused on delivering high-quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field; 7+ years QA and 3+ years management.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems, ISO 9000, SPC, root cause analysis, and CAPA processes.
• Experience leading QA/QC activities within a manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic controls, manufacturing inspection, documentation, and test reporting systems.
• Experience with supplier quality management, supplier audits, and issue resolution.
• Continuous improvement methodologies: Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, JIT.

Responsibilities

• Lead quality operations across the division, ensuring materials, components, and finished products meet standards and customer requirements.
• Lead, coach, and develop quality personnel with a focus on accountability and safety.
• Maintain and enhance the division's Quality Management System (QMS) and related procedures.
• Lead supplier qualification, evaluation, and quality improvement initiatives.
• Oversee investigations into quality concerns, CFGs, and CAPA to prevent recurrence.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing inspection procedures and quality control processes.
• Manage MRRs, RMAs, and VRMAs with timely investigation and documentation.
• Identify and implement Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen to improve quality and efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements across operations.
• Monitor quality performance, conduct audits, and prepare reports for business objectives.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, suppliers, and customers.
