Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. in the United States seeks an experienced leader to oversee CPSD manufacturing and customer testing operations. You will drive safety, quality, on-time delivery, and Lean improvements across production and testing activities.

You will build and monitor KPIs, lead 5S and other continuous improvement efforts, manage staffing, and coordinate with engineering, quality, and supply chain to meet commitments and budgets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with manufacturing experience.
• Advanced knowledge of manufacturing operations in a made-to-order environment.
• Experience developing manufacturing management systems with KPIs and visual tools.
• Strong Lean manufacturing knowledge including 5S and root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead CPSD manufacturing and customer testing operations to ensure safety and quality.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing management systems with KPIs and visual management.
• Conduct daily/weekly/monthly reviews of production performance and capacity.
• Lead Lean initiatives, 5S, standard work, waste reduction, and mistake-proofing.
• Oversee customer testing labs to ensure a high-quality customer experience.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and facility needs for new equipment.
• Support new product introductions with manufacturing plans and training.
• Ensure compliance with policies, safety standards, and budgets.
• Manage and develop manufacturing staff with coaching and performance reviews.
