Job summary

Mitsubishi Electric Power Products, Inc. is seeking a seasoned Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead CPSD manufacturing and customer testing.

You will implement Lean practices, manage production schedules, and drive continuous improvement to ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery in the Pittsburgh area. You will develop KPI systems, mentor teams, and collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain to meet business objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related technical field; 5+ years manufacturing experience.
• 5+ years manufacturing operations; 2+ years in a management role.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, standard work, root cause analysis.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications.
• Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead CPSD manufacturing and customer testing operations to ensure safety and quality.
• Develop and maintain manufacturing management systems with KPIs and visual tools.
• Conduct daily, weekly, monthly production reviews; assess capacity and constraints.
• Drive Lean manufacturing initiatives and waste reduction.
• Oversee customer testing activities and test lab operations.
• Coordinate equipment maintenance and facility needs.
• Support New Product Introduction with manufacturing plans and prototypes.
• Ensure compliance with safety, policies, and budgets.
• Develop and mentor manufacturing and testing personnel.
• Collaborate with engineering, quality, and supply chain.
