Job summary

D&J Precision Machine in Cambridge, OH is seeking a Production Manager to lead all manufacturing operations, drive safety, quality, and productivity, and manage planning and cost controls. You will guide continuous improvement initiatives, staffing, and performance metrics vital to the plant's success.

The role requires strong leadership in a fast-paced automotive manufacturing environment and collaboration with cross-functional teams to optimize throughput and utilization.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing and process improvement.
• Experience managing production KPIs, budgets, and operational reporting.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and manufacturing software.
• Excellent leadership, coaching, and communication skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations to meet safety, quality, delivery and productivity targets.
• Oversee budgeting, labor efficiency, and cost control for production.
• Develop schedules, staffing, and workflow to hit targets.
• Drive continuous improvement, visual management, and SOPs.
• Coordinate maintenance, CAPEX planning, and capital investments.
