Job summary

Employee Workplace in Beverly, MA is seeking a Production Manager to lead a precision CNC manufacturing team, driving safety, quality and on-time delivery. You will supervise machinists, operators, and leads, while guiding productivity improvements and Lean initiatives.

The role requires strong experience in precision manufacturing, ERP usage, KPI tracking, and cross-functional leadership to optimize throughput and cost. This is a direct-hire, on-site position in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading manufacturing operations in a CNC machining or precision manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and production management best practices.
• Proven success improving productivity, quality, throughput, and operational performance.
• Experience with ERP systems, KPI tracking, workforce development, and cross-functional leadership.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 quality systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production operations to optimize safety, quality, efficiency, and on-time delivery.
• Develop machinists, operators, team leads, and production staff.
• Drive productivity, schedule attainment, labor efficiency, and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Planning, and Maintenance to resolve production issues.
• Monitor KPIs, manufacturing metrics, and capacity planning to meet goals.
• Champion Lean, continuous improvement, root-cause analysis, and process optimization.
• Coach and train workforce, support cross-training and performance management.
• Ensure adherence to quality systems, safety standards, and company policies.
