Job summary
McWane Plant & Industrial seeks an MPI Manufacturing Operations Manager to lead multi-shift manufacturing, ensuring safe, reliable production and strong operational discipline.
You will own schedules, coordinate recovery plans, and drive continuous improvement across teams, with a focus on safety, quality, and on-time delivery. This role reports to the Director of Operations and offers comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of manufacturing leadership in industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of CNC machining, tooling, GD&T and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with NPI, FAI and PPAP.
- Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems and reporting tools.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily manufacturing operations across multiple shifts.
- Own production schedules, priorities and recovery plans.
- Maintain floor presence to drive accountability and safety.
- Monitor performance, staffing, equipment use, and risks.
- Coordinate rapid response to downtime and material issues.
- Ensure alignment with customer requirements and capacity.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations.
- Support toolings and process improvements with Engineering.
- Lead workforce development and performance management.
