Job summary

Modern Machining Solutions Inc is seeking a Plant Manager to oversee daily plant operations, ensuring safe, efficient production and cost control. You will lead production, maintenance, quality, and plant personnel to meet customer requirements and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of manufacturing or plant operations experience with supervisory responsibilities.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Experience with Lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, and performance measurement.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily plant operations to meet production schedules, quality standards, and cost targets.
• Lead, develop, and hold supervisors and employees accountable for performance.
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Monitor production output, labor utilization, equipment performance, downtime, and scrap.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance and equipment improvements.
• Manage plant operating expenses and resources to meet financial objectives.
• Identify and implement lean improvements and 5S.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and support production.
• Track KPIs and report performance to senior management.
