Job summary

McWane Plant & Industrial is seeking a 2nd Shift Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations across machining, fabrication, and assembly. You will direct hourly teams, ensure safety compliance, and drive on-time production while maintaining quality across a high-mix, low-volume environment.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, you will champion workforce development, continuous improvement, and Lean initiatives to reduce waste and boost productivity.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of manufacturing experience in machining, fabrication, assembly, or industrial production operations.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily activities of machining, fabrication, assembly, and production personnel.
• Balance labor resources, machine capacity, material availability, and changing customer priorities.
• Drive improvements in throughput, lead time reduction, on-time delivery, and WIP management.
• Lead Lean Manufacturing and operational improvement initiatives.
• Support shop layout optimization and process standardization.
