Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a senior manufacturing operations leader in the United States. You will own shop-floor execution, manage production planning, and lead a team of supervisors and operators to meet delivery commitments.

You will drive Lean and Six Sigma initiatives, monitor KPIs, and influence cost and schedule performance across functions. Willingness to travel up to 15% is required; role is onsite with cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Own shop-floor execution and production order management.
• Drive adherence to the Master Production Schedule and resolve throughput barriers.
• Monitor daily performance and correct gaps in schedule, quality, or cost.
• Lead risk identification and cross-functional recovery planning.
• Ensure accurate labor planning and capacity utilization.
• Manage production supervisors, operators, and support staff.
• Set expectations for operating discipline across hourly and salaried workers.
• Drive continuous improvement with Lean and Six Sigma.
• Support budgeting, cost control, and resource planning.
• Lead by example and promote accountability and collaboration.
• Support process reviews, control plans, and yield improvement.
• Reduce overdue WIP and inventory; travel up to 15%.
