You'll mentor supervisors and staff, collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality, and apply continuous improvement methods to reduce waste and improve reliability. Onsite role with opportunities for relocation assistance.

Qualifications

• Typically requires University Degree with 10+ years experience or Advanced Degree with 7+ years.
• Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Proven data analysis and structured problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily leadership for the machine shop, overseeing supervisors and production teams.
• Plan and allocate manpower, equipment, and materials to meet production schedules.
• Coordinate workflow to maintain consistent output across shifts.
• Provide technical guidance to supervisors on machining challenges and decisions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Production Control, and Quality to resolve issues.
• Champion a proactive safety culture through audits and coaching on the shop floor.
• Lead employee development, performance reviews, and talent decisions.
• Address team concerns and sustain a high-engagement workplace across shifts.
• Drive continuous improvement using LEAN, TPM, and 5S practices.
• Partner with Maintenance to resolve machine issues and plan improvements.
• Support business travel up to 10%.
