Collins Aerospace in Simpsonville, SC is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to oversee daily operations, improve efficiency, and drive safety and quality. You will manage a large team, implement lean practices, and ensure data integrity in ERP systems.

The role focuses on aligning manufacturing execution with business strategy, optimizing scheduling, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across production sites.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent with 8+ years experience.
• 4+ years leadership in manufacturing/operations.
• 2+ years with a QMS such as AS9100 or ISO 9001.
• Experience using ERP for manufacturing transactions and data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily manufacturing operations for timely production.
• Deploy policies aligned with site strategy and annual plan.
• Run Lean management systems and visual management.
• Drive daily accountability and rapid corrective actions.
• Oversee training of ~200 direct and indirect reports.
• Champion safety and quality improvement initiatives.
• Standardize best practices with instructions and checklists.
• Collaborate with planning to optimize scheduling and material flow.
