Job summary

Intertape Polymer Group in Wisconsin is seeking a Manufacturing Manager to lead daily plant operations, driving safety, quality, and productivity while aligning with site and corporate goals.

The role requires a BS in engineering or a related field, 3+ years in a supervision/management role, and strong skills in lean, project management, and communication. You will manage resources and lead CI initiatives to improve performance.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Engineering, Business Administration or other (applicable) technical discipline preferred.
• 3+ years' experience in a supervisor or manager role required.
• Proficient use of computer based skills including Microsoft Office Suite and web based technologies.
• Demonstrated manufacturing based project management and continuous improvement skills, including a fundamental understanding of lean six sigma and IPS.
• Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) which includes active listening.
• Ability to manage heavy workload within busy manufacturing environment and successfully complete projects within assigned deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day plant operations and supervision oversight.
• Develop and prioritize manufacturing plans to achieve service, quality and productivity goals including CI and waste reduction.
• Sustain IPS performance metrics and support certification goals.
• Foster employee commitment to drive site CI within safety and quality standards.
• Set a clear area vision aligned with site and corporate goals; optimize technology use.
• Allocate labor and capital resources to meet business needs within budgets; schedule resources for maintenance.
• Collaborate with other departments and external contacts as a key site leader.
• Contribute to annual performance plans to meet site goals.
• Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor.
