Job summary

Intertape Polymer Group is seeking an experienced R&D Engineering Manager to lead development, transition and integration of new technologies into production. You will provide engineering and people leadership to the R&D process team and drive cross-functional project execution.

Required are a Bachelor's in engineering, 10+ years in engineering with 3+ years supervisory experience, and strong data-analysis skills. Master’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field is required.
• Master's degree in engineering or management is preferred.
• 10+ years of engineering experience with 3+ years in supervision.
• Strong competency with digital tools that support digital transformation and data analysis.
• Experience with extrusion, mixing, coating, and packaging processes is preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the R&D process team; set direction and execution rhythm.
• Partner across R&D, Operations, Quality, Sales, EHS, Supply Chain and Finance.
• Drive continuous improvement and manage project plans aligned to strategic initiatives.
• Oversee technology pipeline, capital deployment, and asset management.
• Apply DoE, statistics, and analytics to guide decisions and document results.
• Foster safe work environment and compliance with union and agreements.
