Job summary

Valeo is seeking a Manufacturing Operations Engineer / Supervisor for a 3rd shift role at our APU site in Seymour, TN. You will lead line improvements, optimize ergonomics and efficiency, and supervise production teams to ensure first-time-right quality.

Responsibilities include driving SQCDM performance, conducting training, and coordinating with design and maintenance to implement TPM and Kaizen initiatives. This role emphasizes safety, cost control, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering required; 0–3 years automotive manufacturing experience accepted.
• Experience with PFMEAs, Lean Manufacturing principles (VPS), and time‑measurement methodologies.
• Proven ability to manage diverse teams and drive accountability.

Responsibilities

• Lead workshops on existing lines to reduce costs, cycle times, and scrap to achieve best-in-class status.
• Create and manage work instructions, PFMEAs, and Kaizen cards for production lines.
• Act as SME for assigned lines to pilot improvements and support new equipment integration.
• Apply advanced quality measures to ensure first-time-right parts for customers.
• Deploy TPM standards and monitor equipment performance, cycle times and micro-stoppages.
