Job summary

Axon LLC in Raleigh, NC is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to oversee the manufacturing process from quotation to final commissioning, including mechanical and electrical assembly, fabrication, and testing. This role reports to the Vice President/GM and directs safety, facilities, quality, capacity planning, scheduling, and shop order management.

You will lead day-to-day production, drive lean initiatives, manage budgets and staff of 30+, improve on-time delivery, and collaborate

Qualifications

• 5-8 years’ experience in manufacturing operations.
• Engineering understanding of machined and fabricated parts.
• Knowledge of lean practices and Six Sigma methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day production schedules and plant activities.
• Lead manufacturing process improvement using lean and Six Sigma.
• Maintain safety protocols and compliance guidelines.
• Review process changes to align with operating goals.
• Coordinate maintenance to avoid downtime and delays.
• Manage production budget, overtime, labor, and materials.
• Develop KPIs for safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Collaborate across functions to improve on-time delivery.
