Job summary

Axon LLC is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to oversee the manufacturing process from quotation to final commissioning, including mechanical and electrical assembly, parts fabrication, factory and site acceptance testing. The position is located in Raleigh, NC, and reports to the Vice President/General Manager.

This role is responsible for plant safety, facilities management, and manufacturing quality, plus capacity planning, scheduling, and shop order management, aiming to deliver

Qualifications

• 5-8 years’ experience in manufacturing operations in a design-to-build environment.
• Engineering understanding of machined and fabricated parts and electrical assembly.
• Knowledge of lean practices and methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day production schedules and plant activities.
• Lead manufacturing process improvement using lean and Six Sigma.
• Maintain safety protocols and compliance guidelines.
• Coordinate maintenance to avoid downtime and ensure quality.
• Manage production staff training and development.
• Develop KPIs for safety, quality, delivery and cost.
• Drive continuous improvement and support cross-functional initiatives.
• Own quality control and corrective actions across the operation.
