Lippert Plant 74 is located in Gaffney, South Carolina, in the Upstate region. Our plant is an assembly facility that produces school bus windows and entry doors primarily for customers in the southeastern states. We are known for our southern charm, and although our team is small, they achieve remarkable results.

The Production Manager is responsible for leading shop team members in a manufacturing and assembly environment. This role involves planning and assigning work, implementing policies and procedures, and recommending improvements in production methods, equipment, and working conditions. The manager will exemplify core values and leadership qualities while navigating a non-climate-controlled work environment.
Responsibilities include adhering to core values, ensuring timely product delivery, overseeing production flow, working with Engineering on order updates, managing team development, understanding ISO 9001, production planning, and completing organizational paperwork. The role also involves initiating interviews, tours, employee recognition, and coordinating with HR on payroll and edits. Ensuring quality standards are followed is also essential.
This position supervises 3-5 team leads and over 70 production members.
This role requires active standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, climbing, and lifting items over 50 pounds. Vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth perception.
1st shift.
Occasional travel to visit customers.
Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.
