Job summary

Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America in Sparks, NV is seeking a Manufacturing Technician I to maintain production machinery through preventative maintenance and basic troubleshooting. The role requires working-level English, 2 years of manufacturing experience preferred, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

You will perform routine PMs, monitor gauges, assist with machine adjustments, document work, and support process improvements on the maintenance team.

Qualifications

• Must have working-level knowledge of the English language (reading, writing, speaking).
• Minimum of 2 years of production or manufacturing experience.

Responsibilities

• Check settings, gauge readings, and sensors regularly to keep machines operating at proper specifications.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines according to documented requirements.
• Make continuous visual and audible observations of the machines to detect abnormalities.
• Tighten bolts and inspect belts and chains for wear and tear for proper tensions.
• Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities such as cleaning and lubrication of machines, changing oil and swapping parts.
• Restore machines to correct operating functions and make necessary adjustments.
• Use hand and power tools, meters, and material handling equipment as needed.
• Report faulty operations and defective material to supervision.
• Support modifications to machines and processes to increase efficiency and production.
• Collaborate with operators on cleaning, minor repairs, and adjustments to machines.
• Maintain complete and accurate records of all work on equipment.
