Job summary

Panasonic Energy of North America in Reno, Nevada seeks a Manufacturing Technician I to maintain production machinery via preventative maintenance, troubleshoot, and assist operators. This role is on A Shift in the Maintenance department and supports process improvements.

Candidates should be able to learn SOPs, use hand and power tools, document work, and report faults. Preferred: 2 years of production experience and MS Office skills.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and speak English proficiently.
• Preferred: 2 years of production/manufacturing experience.
• MS Office skills (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check machine settings, gauge readings and sensors regularly.
• Perform preventative maintenance per documented requirements.
• Make visual/audible observations to detect abnormalities.
• Tighten bolts and inspect belts/chains for wear.
• Assist operators with cleaning, minor repairs and adjustments.
• Maintain complete records of work performed on equipment.
