Job summary

Panasonic Energy of North America is seeking a Manufacturing Technician I in Sparks, Nevada. The role maintains production machinery through preventative maintenance, diagnoses issues, and supports operator tasks in the Maintenance department.

Responsibilities include monitoring settings, performing upkeep, and recording work while collaborating with operators to improve efficiency. Prior manufacturing experience and basic English proficiency are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have working-level knowledge of English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Minimum 2 years of production or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Check settings, gauge readings and sensors to keep machines within specs.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines per documented requirements.
• Inspect belts, tighten bolts, and replace worn parts to maintain equipment.
• Assist with basic machinist tasks and cleaning to support continuous operations.
• Document work and report any faults to supervision.
• Collaborate with operators to complete cleaning, minor repairs and adjustments.
