Panasonic Energy Corporation of North America is seeking a Manufacturing Technician I for its Sparks, NV site on A Shift. The technician maintains production machinery through preventive maintenance and basic troubleshooting, including assisting operators and documenting activities.

Strong English skills and 2+ years of manufacturing experience are preferred, along with familiarity with Microsoft Office. Preferred candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, be resilient, and align with

Qualifications

• Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing and speaking.
• Minimum of 2 years of production or manufacturing experience.
• Skilled with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel).
• High School Diploma or GED required; technical training a plus.

Responsibilities

• Check settings, gauge readings, and sensors regularly to keep machines operating at proper specifications.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines according to documented requirements.
• Make visual and audible observations to detect abnormalities in equipment.
• Tighten bolts and inspect belts and chains for wear and proper tension.
• Perform simple machinist duties including cleaning, lubrication, and part replacement.
• Restore machines to correct operating functions after faults.
• Make mechanical and pneumatic adjustments as needed.
• Recover error codes and troubleshoot issues with equipment.
• Use hand and power tools, meters, and material handling equipment to complete duties.
• Report faulty operations and defective materials to supervision.
• Support modifications to equipment and processes to improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with operators on cleaning tasks and minor repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of all work performed on equipment.
