Job summary

GardenCore is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support preventive maintenance, repair, and installation of manufacturing equipment at our Texas facilities. You will read blueprints, diagnose problems with PLCs, and use a variety of tools to keep machines running efficiently.

The role requires 3+ years in manufacturing maintenance, a HS diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 65 lbs. We offer comprehensive benefits and a path for growth within GardenCore.

Qualifications

• 3+ years maintenance/electrician experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with PLCs and reading schematics.
• HS diploma or GED or equivalent.
• Knowledge of safety programs, lock-out/tag-out, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical and mechanics.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 65 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair equipment, electrical components and special purpose machines.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using blueprints or manuals.
• Use hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, and replace parts.
• Inspect drives, motors, belts, and fluids; replace filters as needed.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep machines running smoothly.
• Dismantle equipment to access defective parts using hoists and ladders.
• Work independently and in a team to meet goals.
• Other duties as assigned.
