Job summary

GardenCore is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, repair, and installation of manufacturing equipment across a fast-paced facility.

Responsibilities include diagnosing mechanical/electrical issues, reading blueprints, and using tools to repair and maintain equipment. The role requires safety awareness, ability to lift up to 50 lbs, and teamwork to support plant operations.

Qualifications

• Experience with PLCs and ability to read schematics.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair equipment, electrical components and special purpose machines as assigned.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs.
• Operate hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, cut, change parts and complete tasks.
• Inspect drives, motors, and belts, check fluid levels, replace filters, or perform maintenance actions.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure machines run smoothly.
• Dismantle equipment to access and remove defective parts using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools.
