Job summary

GardenCore is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, repair, and installation of manufacturing equipment across our facilities. You will troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues, read blueprints and schematics, and use a range of tools to keep machines running safely and efficiently.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in maintenance in a manufacturing environment, experience with PLCs, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of maintenance/electrician experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with PLCs and ability to read schematics.
• High school diploma or GED, or equivalent education.
• Safety programs knowledge, lock-out/tag-out procedures, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical and mechanics.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50–65 lbs with team lifting when needed.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair equipment and electrical components.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using blueprints/manuals.
• Operate hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, and replace parts.
• Inspect drives, motors, belts, and fluid levels and perform maintenance.
• Perform preventive maintenance to keep machines running smoothly.
• Dismantle equipment to access defective parts using hoists and tools.
• Work independently and in a team to meet goals.
