Job summary

GardenCore is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to oversee preventive maintenance, repair, and installation of manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced environment. The role requires PLC experience, ability to read schematics, and adherence to safety programs.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of maintenance/electrician experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with PLCs and ability to read schematics.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Working knowledge of safety programs, including lock-out/tag-out; hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical, and mechanical principles.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50–65 lbs and perform bending, climbing, and other movements.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair equipment, electrical components and special purpose machines.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems using blueprints or manuals.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools to repair and maintain equipment.
• Inspect drives, motors, belts, and replace filters as needed.
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep machines running smoothly.
• Dismantle equipment to access defective parts using hoists and tools.
• Collaborate with team to achieve maintenance goals.
• Other duties as assigned.
