Job summary

GardenCore is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance, repair, and installation of manufacturing equipment across our facilities. The role requires reading schematics and PLCs, using a variety of tools, and safely maintaining equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Physical demands include lifting up to 65lbs with team lifting as needed. The position is full-time, with hourly pay in the $30–$39 range and standard benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of maintenance/electrician experience, including 2+ years in manufacturing
• Experience with PLCs and ability to read schematics
• Knowledge of safety programs, lock-out/tag-out procedures, hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical and mechanics
• Able to lift up to 50lbs regularly and up to 65lbs with team lifting or equipment

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair equipment and electrical components
• Diagnose mechanical/electrical problems using manuals and schematics
• Use hand and power tools to repair, grease, weld, and replace parts
• Inspect drives, motors, belts, fluids, and filters per checklists
• Perform routine preventive maintenance to keep machines running
• Dismantle equipment to access parts using hoists/cranes
• Collaborate in a team to reach goals and take on other duties
