Wayne Farms LLC is seeking a skilled Maintenance Mechanic to perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and inspections on large manufacturing equipment (hydraulic, pneumatic, conveyor systems). The role focuses on reducing downtime and ensuring optimal machine performance on the production floor.

You will read schematics, document work, coordinate with production leads, and participate in on-the-job training.

Qualificações

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Vocational certificate in a relevant field preferred (i.e. welding, maintenance, electrical).
• Ability to read and understand schematics/blueprints to diagnose problems.

Responsabilidades

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines, including cleaning, oiling, lubricating, and replacing belts as needed.
• Identify root causes of breakdowns and repair quickly to reduce downtime.
• Record damaged or worn parts and order replacements as needed.
• Prepare reports documenting work performed and maintain organized shop areas.
• Coordinate with managers to schedule regular maintenance and communicate findings to leadership.
• Collaborate with department heads on equipment modifications and new products.
• Participate in solution implementation and testing of modifications.
• Wear PPE in all required areas to promote a zero-accident culture.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
