Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform preventative maintenance, servicing large manufacturing equipment, and quick repairs to minimize downtime in a production environment.

You will read schematics and blueprints, log work orders, coordinate with supervisors, and ensure safety compliance through PPE and disciplined shutdown procedures.

This role requires mechanical aptitude, strong problem solving, and ability to work extended shifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined with relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and understand schematics, blueprints, etc. to diagnose problems with manufacturing equipment.
• Good computer literacy with ability to enter work records in appropriate program.
• Must have good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate with all levels of the organization in a timely and professional manner; multi-lingual strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines to ensure optimal working condition.
• Identify root causes of breakdowns and repair quickly to decrease downtime.
• Record and report damaged parts and install replacements as needed; prepare work reports.
