Job summary

Wayne Farms LLC is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to perform preventative maintenance, service, and repairs on large manufacturing equipment. You will inspect, diagnose, and fix issues in hydraulic, pneumatic, and conveyor systems to keep production running smoothly.

Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined with manufacturing experience, able to read schematics and records, and comfortable communicating with multiple levels of the organization.

Qualifications

• Must be mechanically inclined with manufacturing experience.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints to diagnose problems.
• Good computer literacy to enter work records.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines to keep them operating optimally.
• Identify root causes of breakdowns and repair quickly to reduce downtime.
• Record and report damaged parts; order and install replacements as needed.
• Prepare reports documenting work performed.
