Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Manager to lead on-site operations across multiple production areas in Kentucky.

The role focuses on coaching supervisors, driving operational excellence, and building systems that improve safety, quality, productivity, and customer satisfaction. Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive leadership experience in manufacturing.
• Experience managing multiple production departments and cross-functional teams.
• Strong knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, CI and operational excellence.
• Experience with KPIs to improve productivity, quality and delivery.
• Experience with ERP systems and production scheduling/planning.
• Experience in AS9100-certified manufacturing, quality systems, audits, and compliance.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, operations management, or related field preferred.
• Experience in aerospace/defense/high-reliability industries preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily manufacturing operations across multiple production areas.
• Develop and mentor supervisors, fostering accountability and CI culture.
• Improve production efficiency, throughput, quality and on-time delivery.
• Establish and monitor KPIs to drive performance and decisions.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, Supply Chain, and Planning.
• Champion lean initiatives, waste reduction, and process optimization.
• Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
• Support workforce development and cross-functional collaboration.
• Ensure processes meet customer, regulatory and QMS requirements.
